Frequently asked questions

What video sizes does the resizer support?
The tool includes vertical 9:16 at 1080 by 1920, square 1:1 at 1080 by 1080, portrait 4:5 at 1080 by 1350, and landscape 16:9 at 1920 by 1080.
Which size should I use for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts?
Choose Vertical 9:16 for Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube Shorts. This fills a modern phone screen and exports at 1080 by 1920.
What is the difference between Fill and Crop and Fit with Padding?
Fill and Crop covers the complete output frame, which can trim edges when the source and target shapes differ. Fit with Padding keeps every part of the source visible and adds empty space where needed.
Does resizing reduce video quality?
The output is re-encoded, so a small amount of quality change is possible. The tool uses a high target bitrate for resized videos to preserve useful visual detail.
Does Jupitrr upload or store my video?
No. The video stays on your device and is processed locally by your browser. It is not sent to Jupitrr for resizing.
Can I resize a MOV or WebM video?
Yes, if your browser can decode the file. MP4, MOV, WebM, and M4V can be selected, but codec support varies by browser and operating system.
