One catch worth knowing: macOS auto-rotates the Continuity Camera feed to keep it visually upright as a landscape stream, so physically rotating the iPhone vertically does not give the browser a true portrait stream. You still get a higher resolution landscape feed centre-cropped to 9:16, just sharper than the built-in webcam. The useful case is a USB webcam mounted on its side: a sideways landscape feed becomes a true full-sensor portrait once rotated, with no centre crop and no quality penalty.
